TELCRA Insulated Hose is an innovative and unique material in the market with excellent insulation characteristics. This material possesses low thermal conductivity and low density, for this reason it can achieve excellent insulation with a low thickness. TELCRA® forms chemical bond with silicone materials which makes the hose assembly very strong yet remarkably flexible.. VENAIR TELCRA insulated hose is particularly well suited for ice cream and other food application where condensate born bacteria is a concern. TELCRA® offers good thermal insulation and low thermal conductivity for improved efficiency. When properly installed in the correct thickness, this product eliminates condensation problems on cold surfaces. The TELCRA® hose is made from lightweight materials with a density of 500 kg/m3. TELCRA® is a super flexible material and contours easily to complex forms. Telcra® presents a chemical adhesion with silicone materials and is environmentally safe, odorless, tasteless and completely non-toxic. TELCRA® is Fireproof and inhibits flame and smoke spread.
VENAIR TELCRA® hose has an liner of platinum cured silicone and is recommended for any process within the food and pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. The platinum catalyst process guarantee a superior level of hygiene compared to peroxide cured silicone. This elastomer is fully non-toxic, stable, odorless, non-stick, hydrophobic, and steam sterilizable with all common CIP cycles. We recommend our hoses for high-grade aseptic quality requirements, since they can be connected using 316L stainless steel connection fittings equipped with the SZR (no retention zone) system . This allows the connection area between the hose and the metal connection to be completely free of any areas of possible contamination, thus facilitating CIP (cleaning in place). Moreover, many of our crimped hoses can be certified and marked according to the 3A Sanitary Standard 62-02 for hose assemblies and complete trace-ability.
