Single Use Freezing – The Challenge:
The biopharmaceutical sector needs flexibility to respond to momentary demand and supply, distribute production steps between locations, and hold intermediate forms of products for some time
between processing steps. This makes it essential to have a method of storing and transporting sensitive products such as pharmaceutical proteins. ZETA is a Global leading in such large scale freeze/Thaw technology. However the industry is also in need of smaller scale freeze containers in various sizes to safely store, freeze and recover these very expensive and potent molecules. Freezing in single use bags has not proven viable for many in our industry which led ZETA, in cooperation with several Global customers to develop these small scale containers.

10, 20, 50 ml Containers
ZETA 10, 20 and 50 ml FreezeContainers are ideal for transport and storage of aseptic liquids. They have proven their usefulness in stability studies and storage of reserve samples of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs). ZETA 10, 20, and 50 ml FreezeContainers are equipped with 2-inch tri-clamp openings.
The design of the containers makes them easy to clean, and they stand steadily by themselves.
- Stainless steel 1.4435
- Traceability by means of full documentation of lots, with certificate management
- Lot and serial numbers etched on every container
- Ra<0.4µm/<1.2µm electropolished surfaces (inside and outside)
- Delta ferrite content of material limited to 1%
- Lid made of 1.4435 with tri-clamp connections
- USP Class VI certificates including statements on BSE/TSE for gaskets
- Optional: EPDM, Silicone, Teflon or blue Gylon gaskets
1L and 5L Containers
ZETA 1 and 5L FreezeContainers have 4-inch tri-clamp ports. They are used in pharmaceutical processes for storage and transport of processed sterile liquids in liquid or frozen form.

- Ra<0.4µm/<1.2µm electropolished surfaces (inside and outside)
- Delta ferrite content of material limited to 1% in base material and < 3% in welds
- Lid made of 1.4435 with 2 filling ports, with tri-clamp connections
- USP Class VI certificates including statements on BSE/TSE for gaskets
- Optional: EPDM, Silicone, Teflon or blue Gylon gaskets
